Taking New Enrolments for our Kids classes for Term 3
Monday afternoons $65 a week for an hour and 25 minute class and the kids take home dinner for the family, 2 ages groups. The classes are casual and fun. I honestly think this idea is genius, for parents to have a meal cooked every week. Yes, the kids would probably prefer to be cooking cakes and biscuits but most kids can and will make that at home. The kids learn a wide variety of skills over the term to enable them to cook healthy family meals fairly independently at home. Do the kids always love the food? Honestly no, but exposing kids to different foods is the best way for them to learn to enjoy different foods and they can always figure out how they can change it to suit. It is said we need to try something 5 times to like it. Anyway, the parents do not complain, they have leftovers for lunch. When we have enough interest we will offer the classes on Tuesday too. So please let me know if that day suits you better. And let your friends know about the classes please as we need to meet the minimum numbers to proceed.
