This dip recipe i promised to post for guests the weekend we opened the bistro in February! apologises it has taken so long to post the recipe, I am quite a few behind now with the menu changing each week and new dishes created. How much does a nice dip and good bread elevate a simple meal like soup?
(the caramelised onion dip with a loaf of sourdough we prepared at a recent bread baking workshop)
2 brown onions tablespoon butter 2 tablespoons brown sugar 250 grams cream cheese salt and pepper
to caramelise the onions peel and slice them into a fine slice, saute them over a medium high heat in a heavy based pan with the butter until cooked through. Add the sugar and continue to cook over a low heat until caramelised. Cool. Beat the cream cheese and mix the onions through. Season with salt and pepper.

There really is so much to do and see on the peninsula and plenty pf other great places to eat if you are staying a while.

$1050 per person with 1 person in a spa Chalet $800 per person with 2 people in a spa Chalet (in one king bed) $650 per person with 3 people in a spa Chalet (2 in a king and one in a trundle)

Once booked the deposit cannot be refunded but you can pass it on to someone else. we reserve the right to cancel if not enough chalets booked for the weekend.
